Longer stretches is normal when they are older, but can be abnormal when they are little like this. My daughter was pooping regularly until 6 days old and then she just stopped. She was breastfed. She would get very uncomfortable and just could not poop. I saw a specialist. I had to do interventions for her every 2-3 days until she was around 10 weeks old and then she began pooping again. When I had to assist her with pooping, there was a TON that needed to come out. There was some talk of a milder form of Hirschsprung’s disease, but since she started again it was never explored. Bowel movements were always an issue for her and when she started eating solids I added a lot of prunes and blueberries to correct it. To this day she eats a lot of fruit everyday and I think that keeps her from being constipated. I do think she has some kind of disorder but we’ve just managed it with diet. Anyway, my point is that I would watch this closely. It may not be normal and you may see your baby become uncomfortable, at which point I would seek advice from a doctor.

Breastfeed babies have an extremely wide range of what's normal. They can poop several times a day (like my son lol) or go a couple weeks without pooping. As long as the poop is always mushy (not hard pebbles) and your baby isn't grunting and straining with nothing coming out there's nothing to worry about!

Normal for breastfed babies not to poop regularly but as your little one is newborn I would get him checked out as they tend to poop often at this age.
