My 2 year old has this table & chair set our cat has a vendetta against. He will NOT stay off of it & pukes on it almost every night. We’ve taken him to the vet & they can’t offer an explanation of why he keeps puking, especially because he only pukes in one spot: my daughters table. We have a cat tree that he uses so it’s not like he doesn’t have something off the floor that he isn’t allowed on.

He doesn’t do this with the kitchen table or anything other surface high up, just my daughters table. He knows he’s not allowed up there because as soon as I notice he’s up there I yell his name & he immediately jumps down but won’t stay off. I’m so tired of waking up every morning to clean cat puke off of it. I Lysol the table every single day but I just don’t feel like it’s sanitary for her anymore. She absolutely loves this set & I would hate to have to throw it out just because of our asshole cat.

Any tips or tricks I can use to keep him off the damn thing?

Edit to add: we haven’t changed his food at all. He’s eaten the same brand since he was old enough to have dry food. He never had an issue with puking until we got this table about a month ago.
