Those of you who’ve had your baby/have had babies when did you start to feel your contractions?

I started having lower back pain, then heavy pelvic pressure, and flu like symptoms (hot flashes and body aches). Then, I started getting contractions but they were very mild and didn’t hurt, so I thought they were Braxton Hicks at first. I started timing them as they got closer together and more painful, then called labor and delivery. By the time I got to hospital, I was already 4cm dilated and ready to go! My water never broke on it’s own, it was very different then labor with my son.

Haven’t had baby yet but with my first they were stronger when I was moving around and on the birthing ball. With my 2nd I was induced and walking around did nothing but I felt much more while laying in bed.
