I just got off of that shot because of the affects I had from it. It’s terrible. I started to bleed heavily and cramp so bad. I had been bleeding the whole time on it, but around December it got heavier and heavier. It scared me, so I stopped getting the injections. I was in so much pain from the cramps. I still had a period on it once a month, but the bleeding never stopped, ever. And it wasn’t just spotting, it was a light period the whole time. I hated it. I gained weight on it, it made me depressed, and I just really don’t recommend it at all.😩

Not sure about the depo but post partum periods are brutal. Ive bled way worse with every period since birth with severe cramping. Not sure if that info helps
