About a 9.5 hr labor for a first labor. Originally due 2/9/2020 but came 2/8/2020. Started contracting much differently and worse than I had been and more consistantly around 1230 pm after just spending some time with best friend at brunch. Gotten home started getting difficult to sit and lay during them tolerated until 2 when I called my husband at work to come get me. We got admitted to hospital around 4 at 5cm and like 90 to 100% effaced Had just enough time to recieve to treatments of strep antibiotics and started progressing with Nubain provided around 7cm. I had md break bag of waters around 8cm then 9 and 10cm came quickly after needing to push. Pushed for 20 minutes with the peanut ball between legs about 10 minutes on each side and then another 20 on back with md present. Had to have epsiotomy due to me being little in size and baby head a little big. Had a 3 degree tear. Some local lidocaine before stiches. I did it though as naturally as I could and so very proud of myself. Recovery will be longer for me I think but that is ok would do it all over again. Baby Keegan Illias is finally here just in perfect time. Stick your ground mamas MDs talked induction for weeks which I kept refusing, they kept stating I needed an epidural which I kept refusing, STICK YOUR GROUND with supportive people by you side.
