Freaking out- mucus plug?

34w5d and woke up to a mucusy brown discharge. Didn’t think much of it and then a little while later huge globs of dark brown/red mucus stared coming out and a little bit later a small glob. Now every time I go to the bathroom I notice more brown globs in the toilet and I’m spotting but only brown. Has anyone had this before? This is my second pregnancy my first I never had any of this he wasn’t born until 41w1d after being induced (never any BH, discharge, or contractions beforehand) pushing for 4.5hours and still not descending and needing a C-section. I have a C-section scheduled for 39weeks so this is very different/new to me.

I did call the doctor but of course I’m still freaking out.

Does this sound like just the mucus plug?
