It's a boy!

Lauren

We did the chromosome test from a company called Harmony that is used by my doctor to gauge likelihood of trisomy and down's with the added benefit of discovering the sex! It was super simple, they just took some of my blood (from my arm) at the hospital, then the lab actually separates the baby's DNA from mine and they can read the chromosomes! So thrilled to be low/no risk for major chromosome disorders, as well as to know so early what we're having! We aren't telling the family though until after he comes. We just don't want to get a bunch of gendered stuff in case we have a second one that's a girl. We'd like to be able to re-use everything.
