In laws coming to town for our daughters baptism
So i don’t know what to do.... our daughter is 5 weeks old and is getting baptized feb 22. I’m still on my maternity leave and am breast feeding and dealing with postpartum depression. She is our first child and first grandchild on both sides. We are having 9 out of towners coming into town and they will be staying in hotels bc I don’t want to host all of them in our house when I’m still recovering and with a newborn baby and flu season. I told my husband his mom and dad can stay with us for 5 days after the baptism since he has a PTO week that week too. His mom is very overbearing and stressed me out but I thought I could compromise and it’s only 5 days and very important for my husband. So his only sister (our baby’s godmother) decided to take off a week of work and just assumed her and her husband could also stay in our house for those next 5 days. I’m telling him they can’t Bc 4 ppl in our house is a lot for me and too much when I’m still on my leave. And I just don’t want to host 4 ppl.... is this wrong of me to feel? Husband is making me feel so guilty and I don’t know how to handle it. I feel like he puts his family ahead of me sometimes and now that we have a baby I get super anxious.
