I know y’all aren’t doctors and won’t have any answers for me but I’m just going to complain because I have now missed 2 periods. If you go by the date of my last period I would be almost 10 weeks pregnant by now. But I keep retesting every week since missing my first period and every single test is negative. With my daughter I had a positive urine test the day before my period was even due. I’ve literally taken 6 tests. All negative. I don’t have insurance so I can’t afford a real doctor and my local health department does not offer gynecology services. We don’t have a planned parenthood here either, the closest one is over an hour drive away. I do have a pregnancy resources here, so I am going to call them and ask if they will do a blood test or ultrasound to confirm or deny a pregnancy. However they are only open Tuesday-Thursday so I have to wait til Tuesday to call. If I am pregnant then that’s great, babies are a blessing and even though the timing isn’t perfect, both my husband and I would be thrilled. But I just need to know if I am pregnant for sure or not because I have an appointment with the health department on the 20th for birth control. (Yes they do birth control but not actual gynecology, and yeah I know that it’s super weird but you can call n ask yourself if you don’t believe me lol).
