Honestly families aren’t what they used to be. Everyone is for self nowadays. No one looks after the elderly... children etc . They barely get together when grief hits the family. But best believe they’re there when it’s time to discuss the possessions in the will or insurance policy smh

To me family isnt always blood. It’s who’s there for you, who loves you. I have blood relatives that aren’t my family  they’re nothing to me

I mean...my family is completely the opposite. We rally and circle our wagons in time of grief or big events so I can't relate..

To me family isn’t blood. I lost my sister over the summer, the amount of support we have received and continue to receive is amazing

The only blood family I ever felt close to is my little brothers, grandpa, grandma, cousin and little sister. 
Surprisingly it’s people that’s not blood related feel more like family than blood relatives.

Family doesn’t have to be blood, it can be someone who loves you for you and is there for you not just for through good times but also the bad and ugly times too, family is sticking together!
