I’m almost 5 weeks postpartum. I bled for 2 weeks in the beginning. I had a 3 week check up and my doctor told me I was cleared for everything and prescribed me the birth control Junel Fe 1/20. I had been taking it for a week and 5 days. I started spotting the day after I took one pill(pretty normal). I spotted for a week and then started bleeding like I was having my period for 5 days. I also was getting hives after I took it every time and then couldn’t breath. I called the after hours nurse line and they said stop taking it immediately so I did(allergic reactions). I was still bleeding slightly heavily. I didn’t take the pill last night as they advised and today, I stood up and blood practically poured out of my vagina and filled my pad up and ruined my white shorts. I went to the bathroom to sit on the toilet and clean up and more poured out like water basically!!! I decided I’d clean up and put a pad on and monitor how often I fill a pad. It seems to have slowed down but I was also taking a nap. Should I wait to call the doctors office tomorrow or just go in? I haven’t passed out, but maybe I shouldn’t let it get to that point and should just go in??
