My boyfriend of 6 years is 21 and he doesn’t have a job, nor is he looking for one. I work around 25 hours/week but I also go to college (I’m a junior and currently enrolled 17 credit hrs this semester). I’m literally on campus from 8am to 8pm some days from work and school. Anyway, my boyfriend has depression and anxiety and uses that as a crutch to not work, and he’s trying to get on social security. Meanwhile I pay for EVERYTHING and also drive us around because he doesn’t have a license or car. I expressed my concerns to him and he said I’m listening to my parents and letting them influence how I feel. He asked me what I expect from him because he’s only 21 years old. I’m 21 too but I’ve had a job for 3 years now, plus going to school. I’m almost graduated with a bachelors degree in that same amount of time. Who is right?
