Im currently living in Chicago, IL with my son who’s 1y/o and looking to move to Texas.

I’ve been here my whole life and I don’t want to raise my here due to the high crime(I know there’s crime everywhere)

The cost of living here is soooo expensive, I’m paying $1300 for a 2bed/2bath house

And I honestly just want a change in my life and a better life for my son

I just signed my lease here in Jan. so I won’t be able to move until around this time next year but im starting to save up now and I just wanna do some research and get some pros/cons

What are some good parts of TX to live in and details about the area? Including PROS&CONS

Also any tips for moving long distance?
