So I took my schnauzer for a groom. A little backstory, I’ve never gotten him groomed, he’s 1 years old, and I thought today was the perfect day. I took him, hours later I went for him but was told they can’t dry him because he has been getting very nervous and stressed and that they can use the blow dryer but he can get even more stressed and rupture his eye vessel. But i told him to go ahead, I thought he would be fine. But no I was wrong, his right eye vessel ruptured and the groomer told me he’s fine, to just buy eye drops and it will go down in 15 days. I just feel like a bad dog mom and I should’ve left it like that and not get him blow dried. I also want to know, does it hurt him? What eye drops do you also recommend or home remedies?
