My husband and I just went on a weekend trip to visit HIS God parents in Savannah. He keeps saying this trip was for me??

Back story. He gets a phone call to go look at a job In Savannah for work. His God parents, who he’s known his whole life just moved to Savannah.

Without asking me: He arranges for his parents to watch HIS kids for the weekend ( Thur - Sunday) and told me to go with him.... so I was like ok. He said he wanted to stay through the weekend and hang with his godparents. Monday, tomorrow is his bday and he told me he didn’t like the plans I made to have his family come over and eat food and cake over the weekend, he didn’t want to deal with it.

I don’t know why we stayed in Savannah all weekend when it was his weekend with his kids and his bday on Monday. He told his parents it was for me to get away... so they keep saying things like I hope YOU had fun.. I hope YOU relaxed.
