My son turned 5 months on the 4th. I feel like he avoids eye contact with me the majority of the time when he’s on my lap facing me and I’m trying to get his attention. Hell look to the side, down or pretty much anywhere else and seems to avoid eye contact with me. When he’s lying down on the couch facing me, changing table, or in his seat from afar he will look at me though and smile. Also, he follows me around the room and tracks me with his eyes. But when I’m up close or pretty much want his attention he looks away. I’m starting to freak myself out because every Time I google everything says autism. Does anyone else’s baby behave like this?
