Is it normal for your baby to have their head bob around and just sustain it up for 1 minute at 3 months?

My baby could lift his head up. Sometimes the weight of his head makes him lean to the side and then fall to the side. There’s times were he holds it up for a while but still bobbing around his head side to side. Is that normal at 3 months or is my baby behind on sustain his head up longer then 1 minute?

my little one came out with his head up. it depends on the baby. as long as you’re doing tummy time safely that’s all that matters

I’m pretty sure my son was holding his head completely steady by 2/3 months (although that seems like a lifetime ago now so it’s hard to remember exactly). But I guess the important thing to remember is that babies develop in their own time so what’s normal for one isn’t always normal for the next. 
I’d definitely work on strengthening his muscles through tummy time though. If you’re still concerned in a week or two, maybe speak to your dr.
