Will bc pills stop bleeding from depo?

I’ve been on the shot for 3 months and i’ve bled for 8 weeks nonstop and I’m still bleeding. I’m switching to the pills soon and I’m just wondering will this go away or will I just have to wait it out? 🤦🏽‍♀️ This is such an annoying side effect and my sex life has been on pause ever since it started smh.
