Puppy tips at night, please help!!!

I let my puppy out in the middle of the night so he could use the bathroom. Put him back in his crate and shut the door, non stop screaming, I let him out at 1:30am and it’s currently 3:30am and he still isn’t tired. I walked him around outside and played with him so he could tire out but nothings working. Any tips on what I should do for the next night?
