A few days ago I received a call from my doctors office stating that I tested positive for chlamydia. I have been with my husband for 12 years and I have never cheated and I can tell you with absolute certainty, neither has he.

I did some research and forum after forum popped up with pregnant women who falsely tested positive. One study even showed that 25% percent of pregnant women will be wrongly diagnosed with chlamydia. Obviously I’m not sure how true that was but search it for yourself and you will see the numerous forums on whattoexpect and other various medical websites.

I made a post asking if anyone on here had had this SAME EXPERIENCE and I received the nastiest comments.

“ 3 things happened: you cheated, he cheated, or you were raped”

“Sorry, your husbands cheating”

“Nope, your husband is lying”

“Not possible”

Over and over and over those were the comments. I apologize if people are in marriages where that is a possibility, but that wasn’t my question.

We both went and got retested. NEGATIVE. So for all of you ladies who think its okay to just say whatever you want and jump to conclusions, think before you speak. I am sorry but I know myself and I know my husband.

Also for Anyone else this happens to. Go get retested. This is more common than you think and can ruin marriages for no reason.
