Was my boyfriend right?
My boyfriend and I were taking a drive at night on back roads where no one else was driving, and deer ran out in front of my car. Luckily I was going slow so I was able to avoid hitting them. They ran out into a field and I love deer and think they’re really cute so I stopped and rolled down my window (no one was on this road, it was practically in the middle of nowhere). I only did it for a split second because it was something my mom and I would do when I was a kid, if no one was around we would just watch them. My boyfriend immediately started screaming telling me to go, it’s dangerous, they’re wild animals and could kick my window in if they think I’m a threat, etc. He said they’re dangerous creatures and I can’t just trust them because they’re cute. I told him to calm down because they’re just deer, they’re not dangerous or aggressive, and besides I wasn’t going up to them, I was just looking at them from my car. He told me any wild animal is dangerous and I’m naive and stupid. He literally screamed at the top of his lungs for 45 minutes about this, about how dumb and innocent I am and about how I never listen to him, how I don’t take his word for anything and how he worries about me 24/7 because of dumb stuff I do without thinking. Keep in mind it was a split second that I stopped and I immediately drove off after he started screaming. Is he right?
