IVF and Male Sperm
My husband and I are in the process of starting IVF. He tells me that when he was around 20 (20 years ago) him and his mate were short of cash so went to donate sperm in order to make some money. They said however, that his sperm was not suitable as when it is frozen it makes it unusable.
Now I know his sperm is fine. We have 2 kids and he has been tested and he’s fine. I just wonder whether this could be an issue during ivf if we needed to freeze embryos or can you always do a fresh transfer?
I’ve also never heard of this or read anyway that freezing can damage some sperm... anyone else heard of this?
