Work/school/mom life
Okay so I just want to know how a lot of you single moms are doing it on your own. Like how do you balance a full time job/school or part time job/school with a kid/s? Daycare and not necessarily having close family to help watch your little ones on weekends for work.
Any tips or ideas would be a big help. Currently a stay at home mom.
I’m wanting to move out of my in laws(ex husbands grandparents) to the city about 2hrs away to have a closer commute to work or school, and my son’s clinic. but I’m just not really seeing how I’ll be able to afford a place on my own, pay bills, balance a job and school with just my son and I.
They are a huge help, but I feel it’s time we need to start our life on our own. Also they live out in the country so it does become an issue for me to get a job near by or go to school. He has CF(cystic fibrosis) so he requires a bit more attention. My in-laws can only do so much since they’re also older and are constantly in and out of the hospital and appointments.
My family is in another state and moving back with them is kind of a dead end as well, I enjoy being in this state and feel as though it would be a great place to raise my son.
(P.s my ex and I have a pretty good relationship when it comes to coparenting and his family has been great to us we all get along well, but they all do try to tell me how to raise my son or try and raise him like they did with my ex. Now my ex is in the military and he’s not state side nor will he be for the next few years)
I could really use some advice or just word of encouragement on anything. Sorry for such a long post!
