Booting baby from bottle by 1??

Question

Ftm here and I am having trouble transitioning my daughter to just a sippy cup.  My daughter will be 1 in a couple of weeks and she mainly still drinks from her bottle. She will drink water from her sippy but mostly plays with the cup. Will your babies be drinking from sippy cup only  by the time they are 1?

We’re a year and a week and she’s down to two bottles a day and the rest sippy. Moving to just the bedtime bottle tomorrow so we’ll see how that goes!

I used a transition bottle from Nubby. It has a nipple that is a sippy spout. She took to it no problem. After a few weeks of her adjusting to that, I bought an actual sippy cup with the same brand and she was able to use it for water and juice. I continued using the bottle with the sippy spout just for milk until we were done with formula because of measuring purposes. We just made the switch to whole milk so no more bottle. She now drinks everything through her Nubby sippy cup.

My daughter just weened herself last week off the bottle. I am beyond thankful because I was so unsure how to go about it.
