I turn 39 weeks tomorrow, doctor just checked me and he said my cervix is soft but still closed 😓😞

38+4 baby still in place with no evacuation in sight

39+1 and been in “early labor” for over a week.
2cm dilated, 50% effaced as of last Wednesday. 
Next appointment is this Wednesday but hoping to have my baby before then! If I make it to that appointment I’m hoping for good progress since last week.

39+1 still pregnant expect to be for another 2+weeks(my first came late in the 41st week) no idea on dilation because I decline all cervical checks. I’m half wishing I left some house work for the last two weeks cause now all I do is wait.
