Both my family and my husbands family live in NY. We live in KS.

My MIL and mother are throwing me a baby shower in NY. I was PUMPED because I’m very excited to be surrounded by my family for a little while.

Plans have changed and long story short they informed me I will need to drive to NY as no one can afford the plane ticket. I can’t afford it either.

I really don’t know how I feel about driving 25+ hours (because you’re supposed to stop and walk if you’re driving that far while pregnant?) when I am 28 weeks.

Can I get out of this somehow? They’re already mad at me for telling them I didn’t want to travel in April.

I don’t know what to do.
