My husband and I have been married for just over six months, and we’re already looking at buying a small house. We’re so eager to because we are having awful luck renting and our current landlords definitely have a monopoly on the local renting market. It’s almost impossible to escape them. We have until June to find a place. I’m honestly scared. I know that we will be able to afford it by then, but so much of me is afraid that something will happen and we will lose the house and be homeless (I’ve been homeless before so I am irrationally afraid of it now). Has anyone else ever been this nervous when buying a house? Any tips?
