i’m sitting here crying typing this which is so embarrassing but i have battled PCOS since i was young. i was diagnosed at 17 years old via ultrasound after having excruciating cramps and an extremely irregular period.

my period has always been sporadic, sometimes my cycle is 23 days and other times it’s over 100.

i’ve wanted to be a mother for so long and have been told time and time again that i will have trouble conceiving and after years and years of it, i’m really getting sick of this. my husband and i have been trying for a baby for 3 years. we have had some weeks of abstinence here and there because i would fall into a deep depression when i got my period & sex became discouraging.

this year we decided we would have sex every single day and hope that God or the universe or whatever decides to give us our first child.

however, since we have been having sex daily, my period has gotten way more constant and i’m not really sure why.

i’ve had my period 3 times this year already and i woke up spotting today. i’m in tears because it’s too bright of a red to be implantation bleeding. we have been having sex every single day and my cycles have fallen down to as little as 13 days.

i have tried to google this but it keeps giving me results for bleeding after sex even though that’s not what’s happening. i get a full, heavy period, and it comes at random times. for someone who has had cycles over 100 days before, and even close to 200, i don’t understand the science behind what’s happening to my body and i’m becoming increasingly concerned.

at this point i don’t think i am ever going to conceive and it’s really breaking my heart.

has anyone else experienced this?

tldr: my period, despite being known to go months and months without happening, has become extremely constant after having daily sex and i can’t pinpoint why this is happening.
