My 11 month old has had a standard cold in the last 10 days or so (coughing and runny nose etc)... last 48hrs her nose has become very congested, we’ve had a little mucus like diarrhoea and a small amount of sick. This afternoon she came down with some shaking - she had a fever. I’ve given her calpol every 4hrs in the last 12 hours. Her last temperature reading was 38.4 with calpol given 4hrs previously.... at what stage do I call 111? Or wait until morning and call GP? She is very unhappy, only sleeping whilst being held for short periods. She’s never been properly poorly before..... I don’t know what stage to start really worrying?
