I got my first ever cold sore and I’m really scared and was wondering if anyone could tell me more about it? I dont know if I have the herpes simplex virus and my school doesn’t offer any blood testing.. my boyfriend keeps telling me it’s not a cold sore and that im just stressed but I’m pretty sure it’s a cold sore and the symptoms are there. He doesn’t have any sores or anything like that and I do share drinks with a lot of my friends so I don’t doubt that I’ve been exposed to it. I just feel so embarrassed and gross especially because I’m in college people are so narrow minded and just assume I’m dirty. I’m also really sad because Valentine’s Day is on Friday and I had so much planned but I know I’m contagious for 7 days after my cold sore heals. Planned parenthood usually offers herpes testing right?
