Has anyone’s baby been sick with a cold then had a cough that has lingered FOREVER? My daughter had a cold in the beginning of December; it was a lingerer and lasted the whole month and a cough started towards the end. I thought it was the usual post nasal cough, but now we are in the second week of February and she still has it. It’s mostly in the mornings and a little at night in her crib, but she has a chest rattle all day when she breathes. The pediatrician has listened to her on multiple occasions and they say her lungs are clear. I just find it so hard to believe she’s fine— it’s not going away! Two months of a cough seems odd to me! I’m hoping it’s not asthma? Anyone else experience this?
