Do you celebrate Valentine's day or skip the holiday?

What does the holiday mean to you?

I am not bashing anyone that enjoys it.

Just wondering if I am the only one that dislikes the pressure of the holiday.

Personally, I would get rid of it

completely. Every year people get all upset because my husband doesn't get me anything. I have told him not to. I don't want him to waste the money and energy. Yet every year I have to tell people "I don't want it" or "he isn't failing by not getting me anything" or "It's our relationship and they need to mind their own business" or "he shows me love all year why does he NEED to show it in a over the top way on Valentine's "

I just want to know other people's view on thos holiday.
