Today we made the decision to cancel this cycle for my egg retrieval. My dr found a cyst in my baseline ultrasound last week and it was still there this morning, so I’m going off birth control and all hormones for a month, then we’ll regroup in March to see if my cyst is still there. I’m heartbroken, but at the same time it will be nice to not be on any hormones or have any ultrasounds for a while. The strange thing is that my cyst actually grew from 22mm last week to 32mm this week, which is very frustrating and makes me nervous that this thing won’t go away fast enough. Does anyone have any advice for making cysts go away? Does anyone have a similar story?
