I’ve been going back & forth on getting a walker for my daughter !

No, because they’re illegal in Canada. They can cause hip dysplasia and aren’t proven to help with walking. We do have an Exersaucer, aka. Circle of Neglect.

I got a door way bouncer, my apartment is so small he would get stuck everywhere so I didn’t feel it was worth it, otherwise I would have especially since I have no stairs.

There’s one at my parents. He isn’t in it very often, but he loves it. There’s nothing wrong with his legs. They’re actually very strong. He prefers his jumper though.

No way. My first born used a walker and he is still a tip toe walker at 6 years old with a high arch. We were completely unaware the walker caused it until we went to physio with our 6 month old and they told us absolutely NO walkers because they negatively affect development and walking.

Didn’t plan on it. But my parents got one for their house and my daughter LOVED it. But she had always hated leaning back and wanted to be upright. I think she was about 3/4 months when she started pulling herself to a standing position when we offered her our hands. 
So our walker has been really good for her. She’s still on the lowest setting and we have carpet, so she can’t go anywhere, but she likes the standing and being included in what everyone else is doing.
