TMI WARNING ⚠️ decidual cast??
I recently started birth control on January 14th and have not quite bleeding since (note: I was put on birth control by my doctor in hopes it would stop my period.. this was their decision) on February 8th after intercourse my bleeding went from brownish discharge to heavier bleeding with tons of cramps that get very painful!
Today at work I started getting very painful cramps that would radiate down my legs! Once I was home I got sudden shooting pain through my whole lower half of my body and ran to the washroom to take out my tampon when this came out of me?
From what I have read it is a decidual cast! Which isn’t surprising because I’ve had two ultrasounds over the past month and each time my endometrium was abnormally thickened but my doctor was not sure why so I’m awaiting to hear from a gyno referral...
But since I passed this I’m kinda worried? The pain hasn’t stopped it just comes and goes and I feel pretty weak and fatigue...
Do you think I should go to the hospital? Or just wait until the gyno office calls me for an appointment? I do have an appointment with my regular GP but that isn’t until the 27th and I’m not sure how much longer I can live with this pain? I was in the ER on Wednesday for pain but the just sent me home and said there was nothing the could do I just have to wait for the gyno to call...
But now that I just passed this and am continuing to have pain and pass a lot of blood I’m not sure what to do??
Any suggestions welcome! I need help 🆘 (I realize y’all aren’t doctors but as of recently the doctors have been no help and told me I just have to wait until the gyno calls to make an appointment which may be months at this point)
