Help tracking ovulation
Hi everyone,
This is my first time posting on here, but I’m a regular reader! My partner and I have just started TTC and I’ve just started tracking using OPKs ( I am 31 and he is 41, so we feel like now is the time to really get stuck in ;-). I know I’m supposed to try tracking at the same times each day and preferably in the afternoon/evening so I’m going to try and get into a better routine.
Unfortunately afternoons are difficult for me due to my work situation, however I can do tests in the morning, and then anytime from 5:30pm onwards.
I have a couple of questions:
1. Is it worth testing in the morning, or is that just a waste of a test?
2. Is it worth testing at 5:30pm and then around 9:30pm when I go to bed, or is one test at that time enough?
3. My “fertile window”according to Glow and Premom is supposed to start today with ovulation predicted for CD 14 (16th of February). Is it normal to have such low results even though my fertile window started today? Do women usually have low results and then peak suddenly? Or should it be a gradual increase? My CM is quite watery and a slight cloudy/grey colour so not EWCM if that helps.
Thanks so much!
Note: I know the photos are all in varying amounts of light too so I’ll work on that as well!
