I’m waiting to see my doc but it will be at least 3 weeks waiting on an appointment.

I was already planning on going as my periods are irregular for quite a while now and I typically have a day or two when I bleed through tampons and during the night with lots of clots, I’m wondering about hormones being off.

This period though I still am bleeding bright red blood on day 7 (not heavily but still bright red). I had a day or two of bleeding straight through the biggest tampon within an hour and needing to double up with a pad, I also felt incredibly nauseous, dizzy and fatigued over those few days. Anyway, I am just wondering - if this light but bright red bleeding doesn’t stop by say tomorrow (day8) do I need to be seen sooner than waiting the few weeks for my appointment?

My periods have always been quite heavy but not to this extent, and usually by day 5 it will be old brown blood spotting, not bright red and hot usually anything by day 7. Thanks
