I personally always had it in the background. Maybe because he never actually watches it? He glances at it every now and then but that's about it.

TV is always on in the background (that’s how I grew up) but it’s rarely playing something that she is interested in, so she doesn’t watch. When she’s at home I’ll give her maybe 30-60 of TV time per day, and that’s not every day. It’s usually just when I need to get something done.

When baby was new, the tv was always on. As she got older and started paying attention, I started to get less comfortable with her watching what I was watching. I ended up buying an Alexa speaker and it changed our household! Instead, for 2 years now, we play music all day instead of watch tv.

When my son was born the tv was rarely on. I’m a stay at home mom so I always put music on and cleaned house plus do my homework assignments because I’m still in school. But now he’s almost 2 and just recently started out the tv on more. He pay attention to It off & on It all depends. He usually gets up to play a lot but sometimes comes & lays on couch to watch like 5mins of tv then is up again. A lot of times I turn in music videos and he will play or watch the videos while I do homework.

Shows are only on if someone is watching them. I don’t like background noise, i know it calms some people down but it irritates me and I prefer to be nice. So shows only go on if being watched
