Will i ever be pregnant?

Hi well i have a problem.. Im 17 and my partner and i have been trying to have a baby (i know youll say i might be too young but me and my partner are financially stable and his fam already wants a grandchild) we’ve been trying and we even did it 5 days straight no protection and i dont understand why i dont get pregnant. I just really want a baby and im afraid there might be something wrong with me.  What do u think i should do? Im scared.

Please educate yourself on how pregnancy happens before you try and get pregnant...
It take take a perfectly healthy couple up to a year to get pregnant... and you wouldn’t even know you’re pregnant until at least 2 weeks after ovulation...

Way too young for a baby, you have NO idea how hard and how much responsibility a baby takes. Please be sensible and realise that there is plenty of time to have children, 17 is not the age to be trying. You have your whole life ahead of you, once you have a baby you’re tied down to that responsibility for the rest of your life.

Girl you’re 17 enjoy life. When you have a child..another human being to take care of you will not only have to work around THEIR schedule, magically have the patience you’ve never had, your body will never be the same, your vagina might rip open while giving birth (mentally prepare yourself for 9 months straight), having a kid affects your relationship (the way you parent might not be the way he wants to parent, he might not give as much thought to the things you do to be a great mother, wife/gf, you’re 17 when I was 17 I worried about what college I wanted to go to, where I wanted to live, what shoes to wear for crosscountry, what restaurant to go on for a date, what city had the best mountain to hike on, when did I last clean my dogs playpen, what type of blanket to buy for my dog during winter, what snacks she preferred, you get the point don’t bring a child into this world without living life.
I had my first when I was 24 and to this day I wish I had waited a little longer.

Oooh, girl. Getting pregnant is so much more than being financially ready. 
Also, it sounds like maybe you don't understand enough about reproduction to be doing it. 
Also, why not get married first? No, you don't have to be married (I am pregnant and not married), but having a child is a commitment to the rest of your life with someone. It's more than just raising a kid together. It's spending holidays together and going to your children's wedding with this person. You will never escape them as long as both of you are in your child's life.
My parents were teen parents who were financially stable, and it's not enough. And they were even married before I was made!!! We talk about growing up together, and all of the regrets they feel about thinking they were ready when they weren't.
Are you ready to sacrifice your body forever? Are you ready to struggle in ways you can even think of because you've never been an adult on your own?
Obviously, you're gonna do it if you want to do it, but I'll tell you what I told my little brothers: you will be a completely different person by 25. Scientifically, your brain is not done maturing (don't believe me, look it up). You are not able to see it now, but when you look back, you'll see. Spend this time getting yourself totally ready for starting a family. Focus on being the best person you can possibly be before kids. Every teen parent I know loves the hell out of their kids, but wishes they had waited.
The last thing I'll say is to do some research. Find out how your body works, and look at statistics on starting a family as a teenager. Everyone likes to think they are the exception, but that's not usually the case.
Sorry to be a bummer, but this comes from the deepest part of my heart. Wait.

I think it’s very common to feel like something is wrong with you when it doesn’t happen right away. Growing up my family pressed it deep into my skull to “never have unprotected sex or you WILL get pregnant!”. So after a year of marriage when me and my husband started TTC it was very frustrating that it wasn’t as “easy” as it was made out to be. It took a lot of prayer & patience. In the end, & after a lot of educating myself,  it took 11 months and the month I got pregnant was the month we decided to not “try” and just have fun. My story is not even as dense as some others. My sister in laws TTC journey was 5 years. If you seriously feel like this is the path you want to take at your age then that is on you. Just make sure you aren’t doing it for the wrong reasons. You have to do it in the right 5 days, not just any old 5 days. You have to do it during your window of ovulation, which is only 2-3 days in a 28 day cycle. Go to planned parenthood and tell them to explain the cycle and ovulation to you and help you calculate when to have sex.
