If so what has worked for you for a girl? My baby is 14months and it's so hard..

14 months is way too early which is why your finding it hard. Wait until 18 months at the minimum and it should be a bit easier.

I haven’t started potty training yet, but I talk to my daughter about the bathroom and the toilet.  When she appears to be pooping, I ask her if she is going potty. I am just trying to slowly introduce it all.

It’s a trap! Early toileting just means you will have YEARS longer to be a slave to a tiny bladder any time you leave the house.
