Cerclage and bed rest ?

Hey guys I lost my sweet babyboy at 15 weeks in December 2018 I was told my next pregnancy I would have a cerclage put in at 13 weeks my question is is everybody put in bed rest after your cerclage for the rest of your pregnancy or did you return to your normal lives ! Currently TTC’ing again very nervous

I returned back to work in 2 weeks. Everything else normal except no sex, baths and heavy lifting

The earlier it is placed, the better. My first cerclage was emergent at 14 weeks. Thus ended my life. The second was preventative at 12 weeks, and i was able to do whatever.

Typically there is not bed rest with a preventative cerclage in my experience. Just pelvic rest and no heavy lifting.
