Do you ever splurge/cheat on diet?

I’ve only been diagnosed for 2 weeks and it took awhile to get to a specialist so I’ve only been checking my levels for a couple of days (they’ve all been good). Curious if any of you ever cheat/splurge that causes a big spike and is it ok or I should I not? I am desperately craving a piece of cake and a slice of pizza for this Friday. Am I horrible? I’m 31+3 weeks
