So I posted this in the wrong group but I’m reposting it now...

when I was 18 in high school I dated an 23y/o who just moved to my town. He was in bad debt and had other issues (dad getting money from him, mom moved in with him and used him) anyways we dated for 2 years and he eventually worked for my dad. They were both in an awkward position so my bf at the time decided to quit. My dad got mad even though he gave him his 2 weeks and called him a low life and worthless and to not ever come back to date me.. well I live with my family. And it scared him and he dumped me.. Now. 2 years later he is apologizing to me and is now financially stable and wants to work on our relationship.. what do you think? I said I don’t know. I really have feeling for him still. But I don’t want to get hurt. I just also love how we have the same values wether it’s religious, political and etc.. I’m so confused
