I had my nexplanon removed on 01/14, while on a period (the only one I had during the six months I had it).

I thought I was going to start a period as on 02/02 as I woke up with intense cramps, and they continued for about 2 days.

However I haven’t had another one yet at exactly 4 weeks post removal which is how long my doctor told me it would take for my cycle to return to normal.

I’ve taken several HPT and all are negative. I know that not everyone is the same and it can take time to regulate but I thought it would have come back by now since that was the expectation my OBGYN gave me.

How long did it take for you guys to get your period back post-nexplanon?

Husband and I are wanting to try for a baby this spring, around April-May.... so it’s not like I’m in a huge rush but I had it removed so I could get myself familiar with my new post-baby cycle and not having a period yet is driving me crazy!
