Back in November I finally got my iud taken out after 2 years with it, I had also been on other hormonal BC for 3 years before that since this has been the first time not on BC for about five years. My cycles have never been regular, but since getting off my IUD they have been fairly regular, and getting shorter each month. My last period was Jan 20th, and both my apps predicted ovulation to be Feb 6th because of my long cycles, however I know they aren’t the best predictors of actual ovulation. I’ve never tracked ovulation and didn’t this month either. On Feb 2 and 3, I had sharp cramping that didn’t last long both days, and this is very abnormal for me, and I also had unprotected sex both of those days with my fiancé. Since then I’ve had weird symptoms that include, heart burn, calf cramps, nausea, stomach cramps, loss of appetite and also extreme hunger, trouble sleeping even though I’m exhausted, headaches, dry mouth, frequent urination, as well as a little spotting. I’m just confused though because if I go by what my app says than my period isn’t due for another 10 days, however it could be off if my cycle is getting shorter this month like it has in previous months. Has anyone experienced this? This would be our first time TTC. Thank you!
