Month long period?

Has anyone ever experienced a period lasting 40 days and still counting? Light bleeding and only had 3 blood clots all tiny I'm worried I'm going to obgyn tomorrow just wanted to see if anyone else has been through it

Update for you ladies its cause I'm not ovulating enough cause of my weight so I have to clean it out and go on birth control to regulate my periods.

Last time this happened to me I ended up having a uterine infection- definitely call & make an appointment with your doctor!

I've bleed for 3 months straight before. Ended up getting a hysteroscopy and polyp removal. Endometrium was really thick and bleeding was trying to shed it but couldn't on it's own so I got the procedure done

Are you on any type of birth control? When my sister went on the depo shot she bled for 3 months straight
