Do you let your husband masturbate if he is watching you?

I believe masturbation is a sin, but I caught my husband of 5 months doing it a few months ago. It absolutely devastated me and I cried for weeks. The worst part wasn’t that he was pleasuring himself instead of letting his wife do it, but what hurt so badly was it was done in private, in our bathroom. He was alone with his thoughts, in a place where there are no photographs of me. He could have been thinking about another woman. Thankfully there was no pornography involved, which I know because I thoroughly check his internet history on both his phone and computer.

We have been meeting with our pastor about this issue. The pastor obviously is on my side. I’m beginning to think my husband has an addiction though, because he admitted he is tempted to touch himself sometimes. Obviously I have prayed over this and confided in some friends and family. One woman from my bible study gave me the advice to let him masturbate if he must, but only while I am in the room. Meaning, he must be looking at me. Have any of you tried this as means to help a masturbation addict?
