I’ll try to keep this as simple as possible I’m not looking for any negative feedback here, just advice. So right now I’m 20 years old and I met this man who is 40 at my job. He and I have been together for 4 months now and I’ve had to keep my relationship with him secretive because of my mother. When my mother found out I was originally just having conversation with this man outside of work, she flipped out. I don’t just mean yelling and screaming. There’s way more then just that, but that’s not the point. Considering he and I have been together for 4 months without my mother knowing, I truly feel like I need to tell her soon. But I cannot relive what happened last time. I simply can’t. I’m tired of playing the games with her and lying when it comes to him. Someone help. How should I say something to her? How should I go about this without fighting with my mother again? I honestly want this relationship to work out so badly... he’s honestly the best guy I’ve ever met.
