Loved mine. I had it 3 years and literally never had a period. It was amazing.

I had it. There were pluses and minuses. The biggest negatives are
•Started with 3 months of spotting
• Ended with spotting as my weight went above the limit (180ish)
• I have a small permanent scar
Biggest positives
•No unwanted babies
• No period after initial spotting
No noticeable side effects

I don’t .. I had sever headache, my periods would last longer than week I had bad abdominal pain with it

Everyone’s experiences with it are different but me personally I would never get on that one again. I had it for about two years and bled the whole time I was on it, I told planned parenthood about the bleeding and they decided to have me try two other birth controls with it to see if it would stop the bleeding and all that did was make me super sick. I also gained over 20lbs on it. I decided to finally get it out and it took over a year to get pregnant as well. I have definitely heard some good experiences with it which is why I chose to get it because it works very well with preventing pregnancy but unfortunately I just didn’t have a good time with it. It also had my moods all over the place, just not worth it to me to feel that way.

I had the Nexplanon implant for 6 years and I never had many issues. I would recommend, but be aware it takes a bit to get used to. My main issue was headaches that stopped as soon as I got it out, but other than none.
