My husband and I are going to apply for a home loan in April. We’ve found our loan officer and she’s said that we’ll be getting a USDA home loan- my husband just needs a few more months at his current job before we can apply.

We’re currently a family of 4 living in a 2 bedroom townhouse, so things are getting a little crowded and we’re so ready to get out of here. I think that is like to start (slowly) packing up the house so that when it’s time to move, it won’t be as stressful but I’m worried that decision is too premature.

So I guess my question is- how long did it take from the time that you got approved for the home loan to having actually moved into your new home?
